Meet our superior staff
Ms. Kerry Fantasia:
Kerry is the owner and Director of The Prep; she oversees the curriculum, environment and staff while working with the families to provide optimal programming to meet the needs of the students. She was born and educated in Lowell and is certified in Early Childhood Education.
Mrs. Carole Gray:
Carole has been with The Prep since 2010. She is certified in Early Childhood Education and teaches the 4 year olds. She lives in Lowell with her husband and three children.
Mrs. Maria Tretola:
Maria was born and raised in Lowell. She is certified in Early Childhood Education and teaches the Transitional Kindergarten Class. She has been apart of The Prep since 2010.
Mrs. Michele Melendez:
Michele was born and raised in Westford, and then attended UMass Lowell. She is certified Early Childhood Education. Michele resides in Lowell with her husband, twin daughters and son. Michele became apart of The Prep in 2011. She teaches the 2 year old toddlers at The Prep.
Miss. Marissa:
Mrs. Carrie Carolan:
Carrie came to The Prep in 2017. She is certified in Early Childhood Education, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and is currently an ESOL teacher for Adult Education. She lives in Lowell with her husband and four children.
Mrs. Joan Lachance:
Joan came to The Prep in 2016. Joan works as a Teacher’s Assistant. Joan comes to The Prep with many years of child care experience. Joan has three beautiful grandchildren and is Mrs. Melendez’s mom and Miss Marissa’s gram.
Mrs. Theresa Patenaude:
Theresa came to The Prep in 2017. Theresa works as a Teacher’s Assistant. She has many years of child care experience. Theresa also works as a Summer Camp counselor.
Miss McKenna Fantasia:
McKenna is born and raised in Dracut. She will be attending Northern Essex to pursue an education in Psychology and Mental Health. McKenna has been apart of The Prep Preschool all her life. She is a Teacher Assistant and works as a Summer Camp counselor.
Miss. Maggie Phillips:
Maggie was born and raised in Lowell and currently lives there with her parents. She is a graduate from Lowell High School. She is currently attending Umass Lowell for her Bachelor’s degree in Education. Maggie works as a Teacher’s Assistant. Maggie is a certified teacher and also works as a camp counselor at Summer Camp.
